The City Commission recently adopted two new policies concerning construction of new residential homes and new additions in the City. A Builders Code of Conduct outlines the expectations that the City has for contractors working in the City. It emphasizes the importance of adhering to permitted hours of construction, maintaining site cleanliness and measures required to maintain the safety of the site and surrounding area.
In conjunction with that, a Neighborhood Bill of Rights was also adopted that details what residents can expect if there is a major construction project taking place on property near them.
