February 27, 2024: Presidential Primary Election
Thank you for casting your ballots! Huntington Woods had a voter turnout of 41% for the February 27th Presidential Primary Election.

What's On the Ballot?


Register to vote online here!
If there are 15+ days before an election, voters can register online, by mail, or in person.
Within 14 days of an election, including on Election Day, voters may only register by visiting their local clerk’s office to register in person with proof of residency documentation.
Voters can check their voter registration status and look up their local clerk information at michigan.gov/vote.


You can vote in the following ways:
1. Absentee Voting - you can request an absentee ballot at michigan.gov/vote or contact your City Clerk at 248-581-2638 to have an application mailed to you.
If you are already on the Permanent Absentee Ballot list, you will automatically be sent a ballot every election, no application required.

If you are not already on the Permanent Ballot List, upon requesting and completing your absentee ballot application, you can note on the application you would like to be placed on the permanent ballot list, no longer requiring an absentee ballot application to be completed for future elections.

2.  Nine Days of Early Voting - Huntington Woods voters can cast a ballot at Regional Early Voting Site #1 located at the Oak Park Community Center at 14300 Oak Park Blvd, Oak Park, MI 48237.
Early voting is open for nine (9) consecutive days beginning on the second Saturday before the election and ending on the Sunday before the election.
Early voting hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with Thursday hours being 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

In-Person Voting on Election Day - Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

*As of December 2023, the previous configurations of Precinct 3 (formerly City Hall) and Precinct 5 (formerly Gillham Recreation Center) were combined into one single Precinct 3, which is located at the Gillham Recreation Center. Affected voters will receive notice of this change via the US Postal Service.
