Boards & Commissions

Boards & Commissions
The City Commission encourages resident involvement in City government and relies on dedicated residents who wish to serve the City as a volunteer on various Boards, Committees, and Commissions. Serving on a Board, Committee, or Commission is a great way to contribute to your community, learn about civic activities and functions, and make new friends!

The City Commission interviews interested applicants, usually in early December. The appointments are made for the following calendar year and individuals typically serve three year terms. Residents may serve two consecutive terms, if they wish to do so.

Please see the description of the various Boards, Committees and Commissions here. If interested in one or more positions, either submit online or print and fill out a Citizen Interest Form and return it to the Chief Community Engagement Officer. Forms may be submitted at any time during the year for consideration and interviews are typically scheduled in December.

Meeting schedules, agendas, and minutes are available under each specific Board, Committee, or Commission. The meeting schedules are subject to change. Changes are generally reflected along with the meeting agenda.
