City Establishes Anti-Racism Advisory Committee

With the adoption of the City's Anti-Racism Plan, the City has established a resident Anti-Racism Advisory Committee to provide feedback on the adopted plan, as well as provide input on future initiatives and policies. The Anti-Racism Advisory Committee considers anti-racism related issues in the City of Huntington Woods and advises the City Manager and City Commission concerning such issues. Duties of the Committee shall specifically include:

  1. Provide input and advice for the successful annual update and on-going implementation of the Anti-Racism Plan.
  2. Offer perspective and collaborate with other City boards and committees on relevant Huntington Woods policies and programs.
  3. Recommend speakers, programming and educational opportunities to support the Anti-Racism Plan.

More information on the Committee can be found on our website. Residents interested in serving on the Committee should fill out a Citizen Interest Form, also available on our website.
